Fire rated loft hatches – 1 Hour Resistance

A fire rated loft hatch provides an extra level of reassurance in situations where fire security is paramount. Manthorpe’s fire rated loft hatches are rated for one hour’s resistance and have been independently tested. Test report is available upon request.

All our fire rated loft hatches are lockable, either with a budget lock and T key or with a camlock and Euro key; the latter supplied with two keys to maximise accessibility while still maintaining security. Furthermore, both variants are available in square or rectangular configurations to maximise installation options.

Fire rated loft hatches with inbuilt draught seals

All our fire rated loft hatches incorporate fire-retardant mineral wool and are manufactured from powder-coated steel. Finished in a light texture, they can be kept clean easily with a solvent-free damp cloth and painted to match surrounding décor.

Draught seals are incorporated into all our fire rated loft hatches, to create the seal and prevent warm, moist air entering the roof space and avert issues associated with such leakage.
